To day our plan was to leave San Fran early and drive to Yosemite in the morning. The day started of like any other, raiding the breakfast buffet

Jump to the full entry & travel map Klamath Falls, Oregon, United States We didn’t give Klamath Falls the attention it probably deserved, but had bigger fish to fry with Crater Lake. It looks like a beautiful place, unfortunately we didnt get in there until around 10:30pm and pushed off first thing in the morning. One thing that was memorable was this marks the day Lance Armstrong’s Tour De France legacy ended.

Jump to the full entry & travel map Crater Lake National Park, Oregon, United States Crater Lake is breathtaking. We totally underestimated the amount of snow that would be here so late in the season (as we did two weeks ago at Tahoe trying to ride the Hole In The Ground trail)

Jump to the full entry & travel map Philipsburg, Saint Martin As if life weren’t complicated enough, in addition to building a new home in Spring City and re-modeling the “cottage” in Spring City, I’m starting work on our home in Aurora to get it ready to eventually sell. Dan has a group of golf buddies coming with their wives to stay with us a few days in July and we started planning for their visit months ago, knowing that I was going to be in a complicated in-and-out-of -town schedule for the months preceding their visit. So we rolled our improvements to the house into our preparations for their visit

Jump to the full entry & travel map Palau Perhentian Kecil, Kelantan, Malaysia Salamat Pagi, My guidebook mentions the following for the place I have just been to: ‘Wake up; swim; lie on beach; nap; snorkel; eat; wonder; snooze’ and that pretty much sums up the past 4 days I’ve just had on the Palau Perhentian islands! Having taken a nightbus from KL to Kuala Besut last Thursday I then jumped on a speedboat which took us on the final part of the journey to these islands. The white sand and turquoise waters meant it was a pretty sweet spot and so I basically had a few very nice days just chilling out and eating amazing food

Jump to the full entry & travel map Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia Day 69 – Tuesday 13 July 2010 We wake up in the morning and our room smells like wet cat – all our jungle kit was wet and we layed it out in the room to dry during the night. This was largely accomplished, horrid smell aside. We had planned to do a snorkelling trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park today, however being tired, wet, irritable from mosquito bites we have decided a day off would be a treat

The New York Times is officially calling rolled up pants an “epidemic of 2010.” This style was also popular amongst middle school humans in the late ’80s and early ’90s, myself included. But back then it wasn’t just a  trend — you simply didn’t show up at school without your pants pegged. It just…wasn’t done

Apparently Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are both doing the master cleanse, in which you consume only a mixture of lemon, cayenne pepper and maple syrup for a given number of days. I’m sure this is going really great for them so far, but do you know what would happen to most of the world if both partners in a marriage went on a master cleanse together?

Unless I beat you to it! The house in Brentwood, CA (home of our own Governor Schwarzenegger) that Ms. Monroe died in is now on the market for a cool $3.5 million. According to Curbed LA , the house was a shack compared to celebrity homes of today — it had only four bedrooms (embarrassing) and three bathrooms.
