C’etait sympa de couper le trajet avec une activite a mi chemin, meme si le trajet n’etait que de 3 heures cette fois ci ——————————————————————————————— We didn’t want to spend too much time in Vang Vieng like you would have understand it, we left the morning for Vientiane and cut the trip halfway with a 2 hours kayak with Lao BBQ lunch on a rock !

I remembered back in 2006 when Ecuador played England and we beat them, sending them out – that time the Ecuadorians didn’t care however and partied hard, just being at the World Cup and playing England was enough.

Halloween-themed Fragrance from Smell Bent

Our first German-speaking country (four cities total), our second really big city, our first non-hostel accommodation, and Emy’s first time back to this wonderful city since she studied abroad there four years ago! For our four nights in Berlin, we stayed with Emy’s friend Sarah, who lives a short bus ride outside of the main part of the city. We were so pleased that her and her family were able to accommodate us, and it was a wonderful relief to stay in such a nice place. We’ve actually been enjoying the hostels a lot, but it still felt great to be able to sleep in a big comfortable bed with no late-night or early-morning commotion! It also allowed us to spend lots of time with Sarah and her and Emy’s mutual friend Mirjam, which was great! One thing we noticed was how lazy we suddenly became! Though both us felt like we’d gotten a good rest in Amsterdam, it was as if we were even more relaxed subconsciously here, and we often had trouble getting out of Sarah’s apartment before noon.

I stopped by my local Target today on my way home  to pick up some necessities and accessories for my Halloween costume. As I was browsing through their hosiery section, this display of the cutest boyshorts caught my eye.  Usually I’m more of a VS girl but sometimes I’m just lured by pretty lingerie, especially pretty lingerie that’s inexpensive! I’ve seen the shows on television with the horders, although I’m not proud to admit it.  It’s like a car crash, you can’t look away.  Fortunately the handful I have seen have a happy ending, except the one lady who was going to be kicked out of her home.  However, at the last minute the landlord said she could stay, but I assume once the cameras were gone she would be homeless. There’s an auction coming up and no photos have been posted yet, but the auctioneer informed my mother and I that she never threw anything out.  I believe he said she had four storage sheds full, but the exact number escapes me.  She wasn’t homeless, she just kept everything.  In the collecting world, this could be gold.  I guess I’ll wait and see what the pictures show.
